If you are in an area that is now serviced by NBN, you need to know that your existing ADSL and home/business phone lines will be disconnected 18 months from the date the NBN was first available in your area. For Noosa, Noosaville and Tewantin this means the end of 2018.

Whilst this may not seem to bad, remember if you have a home Medic Alert, or a back to base alarm system then these are usually wired into your old soon-to-be-disconnected phone line. You need to take action sooner rather than later and be prepared for the changes coming.

At Just Ask Dave we offer an in home service to fix these issues so you can rest easy that all systems will still work when you need them the most.  Please note though, the NBN is not 100% guaranteed, so something like a Medic Alert may not work when you need it the most if the NBN has an issue at that particular time.
